So dress up in a witch costume, drive to work and catch all the looks you get from you fellow drivers on the road. Then enjoy your day at work in you costume and follow it up at night by answering the door for trick-or-treaters and watch their expressions.

Witches In History

Witches and witchcraft have been around as long as humans have going back thousands of years. As far back as Egypt, Assyria and ancient Babylonia.

Most of those references to witches and witchcraft aren’t cast in a very good light. And then when you think about modern day witches in America, the Salem Witch Trials probably come to mind (that definitely wasn’t a good thing especially if you were getting burned at the stake).

On the lighter side of things TV shows portrayed witches in more of a good, funny way, like Samantha from the TV show Bewitched, Sabrina the Teenage Witch and the three sisters from the TV series Charmed. And you can’t think of good, light hearted witches without thinking of Glinda the Good Witch from the Wizard of Oz movie. Of course on the other side of the coin if you think of Glinda you always think of the Wicked Witch of the West, too.
